Additive Prince’: Leading the New Trend in Additive Manufacturing

The Additive Prince was introduced as a core component into HOTLAB’s important project. After two years of optimization, this project finally made its debut in March 2025. It not only attracted the attention of equipment integrators in the industry but also received high recognition from the National Ministry of Science and Technology.”
图片-02It features a 4-laser integrated design, enabling a printing speed that is more than four times as fast. By means of dynamic focusing optical soft control technology, the roughness can be precisely controlled at a powder laying thickness of 80 micrometers.

After 3 years of refinement, currently, for this “Additive Prince” product, regardless of the galvanometer state, the output state of the laser, or the variation of the spot when the laser acts on the powder bed, it can be read back in real time through sensor data. On one hand, the company has made further optimizations to its optical period, endowing the focused spot with deeper penetration. On the other hand, for this product, we have also optimized the printing strategy layout. When the 4 working heads are in the full coverage state, the efficiency can exceed four times.

At present, in the SLM field, the “Additive Prince” can achieve a powder laying height of 80 microns. The roundness of the focused focus in the XY direction can reach 97%, and it can still maintain 92% when defocused within ±10 millimeters. This ensures that when switching between large and small spots, there is always a high level of beam quality.
